Rolliz is only 19 years old, was born on Guam and left to Vegas, when he was nine years old. He said Vegas is a wonderful place where he grew up most of his entire teenage life. Then years later, he came back to Guam. He is only here for three weeks and he is already thinking of competing for the nationals this September.

Back in Vegas, he planned to compete this November, but left to Guam. Now he is able to fulfill that dream here instead and will shoot for the nationals this year.

GBB: When did you decide to get into bodybuilding?

I got started in bodybuilding primarily from my closest friends.  Because ever since high school, we've always been competitive together.  And once we graduated, we started going to the gym.

GBB: Have you always been this build?

I got a little chubby in freshman year and below middle school. I've always been pretty skinny. But once I moved to Vegas I don't know what happened, I gained a little weight for a naturally skinny guy.  Once I hit sophomore year, I started doing programs in high school that got me into shape, which I lost the most amount of weight.  I competed against other high school students, just normal stuff like pull-ups, sit-ups and one mile runs. So I was pretty athletic but I was still pretty skinny. I didn't have too much muscle.

GBB: What is your motivation?

When I saw myself improving in the mirror and that I could change my body, that drove me insane. I feel that the drastic change with my body kept me motivated.

GBB: Are you competing this year?

Yes, for the past year, I've been wanting to. Back in Vegas there was a competition coming up in November which I also wanted to, because it was an amateur contest which I was really excited for, but then we moved down here and then I found out there is a show in September,  It was along the same lines. So I thought I might be ready for, I might not. But as of right now it's definitely something I want to do.

GBB: What makes you think you're ready to compete?

For the past 3-6 months I think my training has gotten more intense.  I'm not sure about my diet, but I know that I've been on the ball. Because I started taking it a lot more seriously. I gained the most weight in my 3 years of working out. I'm thinking if I put a goal in mind that I'm just going to do even better.

GBB: Is anybody assisting you with your diet right now?

Actually a lot of these guys have been helpful which is really cool. I'm not use to so many people just being nice.  And a lot of people at the gym are recommending different people.  I met Clay, he's really a cool guy. I'm not sure how much he's helping me. He's giving me pointers and basically just giving me inside on what I should be doing. I think it's a big help. I don't know any of this stuff. I'm brand new to it. Everyone pointed fingers at him saying he's a great guy, he knows what he's doing.

GBB: What do you eat off season?

To be honest I never had an off season until now. I eat whatever. I mean maybe for the past year I've been self conscious of what I eat. I really cut a lot of fried food out just to be healthy in general. I took all my fried food out because I notice it wasn't making me feel good. Now close to the competition the meals I'm eating don't taste like anything anymore.

GBB: What is your training style?

The only style of training that I really know is from what I read and from what I see from other people. To be honest I'm not the best guy to ask.

GBB: How do you feel about the show now that it's less than three months away?

I'm pretty excited for it. I mean I don't want it to come sooner than it is. I expected it in November but now it's September. But as for the show, I'm pretty excited for it. I want to see everyone's physique. I want to see what people can do. I'm excited more than nervous.

Erwin is 18 years old standing at 5'7 and weighing at 150lbs recently graduated at Okkudo high school. He is a natural athlete and very competitive in nature.

He said he participated in most sports in high school and always had the need to compete. This year he wants to compete in the nationals.

GBB:  What got you started?

In high school I was a regular athlete. Pretty much it was more self motivation. I did it myself. I remember I was looking for a place to work out and a couple of my friends recommended me to paradise fitness gym. I tried it for a month and got hooked.

GBB: What is your diet like?

I eat a lot of meat. I really don't know what a diet consist of, basic meat groups like, chicken breast, turkey & tuna is what I eat the most. I eat a lot of steak too and also lots of brown rice.

GBB: Do you have a specific calories intake per day?

That only thing I know is what not to eat that's basically what I go by. But I know I'm getting enough.

GBB: Do you eat junk food like a typical teenager?

Actually I disciplined not eating junk food because of sports. In wrestling we had to cut down on weight. I used to run cross country and junk food was never part of my diet. It became a habit.

GBB: What motivates you?

Basically if you really want to do it, and if it's something you love doing then you should not have any problem getting to the gym. For me, I love doing things that keep me in shape. The only motivation I have is I love working out, it's part of my life. Hopefully I can pass it on to my kids.

GBB: Are you competing this year's Guam Nationals?

People keep asking me to compete like my friends. At first I wasn't sure I was ready.  I think two months is good enough time for me. I was preparing for it but I wasn't sure if I was going to go through it but now I'm going to go into it. It's always good to try it out for the first time. We'll see how it goes.  I want to experience it so the next time around I'll know what to expect.

GBB: What is your next step towards reaching your goals?

I'm trying to lean up more, stick to my diet and build my legs. Right now I'm actually trying to focus on shredding it, because competition is in two months. Hopefully I'll get results by that time. It's my first time so I'm hoping for the best
